Jianqiao

My name is Jianqiao Luo, and together with my roommates, we are on the lookout for a welcoming place to reside for the next 3-4 months, with a possibility of extending up to 6 months, depending on our job placements. We are currently international students and fresh graduates from the University of York, exploring career opportunities while enjoying the vibrant life has to offer.

Healthy and Respectful Living: I, Jianqiao, am a non-smoker, do not consume alcohol, and am not a fan of hosting parties. My typical day involves job hunting, catching up on some rest, and occasionally exploring the city and its surroundings. My roommates and I value a peaceful and respectful living environment, where each individual’s preferences and routines are acknowledged and respected.

Flexible and Adaptable: Our stay duration is somewhat flexible due to the nature of job hunting in the current market. We are looking for a 3-4 month short-term stay initially, with a strong desire to extend up to 6 months or possibly more, depending on our employment circumstances. We assure you that we will communicate transparently regarding our plans and any changes to our stay duration.

Gentlemanly and Courteous: I believe in maintaining a gentlemanly demeanor, being courteous, and respectful to all individuals I interact with. This extends to our living situation, where respect for personal space, belongings, and mutual understanding forms the foundation of a harmonious cohabitation.

Adventurous Yet Tranquil: While we are adventurous at heart, loving to explore new places, try diverse cuisines, and immerse ourselves in different cultures, we equally appreciate tranquil and quiet moments. We enjoy having calm evenings, indulging in a good book, or having a relaxed movie night at home.

Community and Connection: We believe that a house is made a home not just by its occupants, but also by the connections and community that are built within its walls. We are not only looking for a place to stay but also a place where friendly, genuine connections can be formed, and where every individual feels heard, respected, and valued.
