The room has a double bed, desk, and wardrobe, and the flat itself has a big open-plan kitchen and living space with a dining table, two sofas, and a TV — genuinely gets used, not just for show. On top of that you’ve got a gym, cinema room, games room, and study areas all on-site, plus secure fob entry, launderettes, and lift access. Rent’s all-inclusive — no separate bills, water, or WiFi to sort, and it’s paid straight to Newton House. Right in the middle of everything Sauchiehall Street has to offer — shops, bars, restaurants, all a couple minutes away.

His name is Max and he’s possibly the most relaxed guy I’ve ever met — won’t get in your way one bit. He’s big into the gym, so don’t be surprised if you end up with a solid gym buddy, and he’s actually decent in the kitchen too, always got something good cooking. Big into his video games as well when he’s not out, so there’s always someone up for FIFA or whatever’s going on the TV. He was the one keeping the flat clean most of the time last year too, so that won’t be an issue at all. The rest of the flat is still to be filled, so whoever takes my room would have a real say in who else moves in — if you’ve got preferences on who you’d want to live with, that can genuinely factor into who we pick for the other rooms.
