My name is Sorin, I’m 28 and I work in film distribution, specialising in European cinema. I work mostly from home, although every now and then I travel to film festivals around Europe.

Outside of work, I’m very creative and always have some kind of project going on. I’m into photography and make short films and music videos. I love charity shops, collecting vintage pieces, visiting galleries, and exploring interesting or unusual places around London with friends.

I also have a bit of an obsession with Victorian props and objects, which I usually use to decorate my room and create little installations. I’m always happy to contribute to the overall character and atmosphere of the house! I read quite a lot of philosophy too, so I’m always up for interesting conversations over a drink or dinner.

When I’m not doing something creative, I enjoy running, hiking and getting outdoors — and I’m pretty good on a barbecue too.

As a flatmate, I’m sociable, tidy, respectful and enjoy cooking. I’ve lived in a warehouse before, so I understand the communal atmosphere and the balance between having a social home and respecting everyone’s space.

Ideally, I’d love to live in a friendly, creative house where people actually get to know each other, occasionally hang out together, and can bounce ideas back and forth about their projects.
