Area: Zone 1 — Paddington, Notting Hill, Canary Wharf, Docklands, camden, Angel… Commute: 20–30 mins to Liverpool Street Hey! I’m Julie, 35, a software engineer working in finance. I’m looking for a flat share of max 3 bedrooms with like-minded people. During the week I’m pretty quiet. I work hybrid (three in the office, two from home) and tend to have long days, often until midnight, so weeknights are very much work, gym, sleep. I’d love flatmates who are on a similar wavelength during the week. On the weekends I properly come alive. I’m very much alternative, so you’ll find me at a techno night or a metal gig, but just as easily dressed up to go to a rooftop bar or out for a nice dinner. If you ever fancy tagging along, I’d genuinely love that. Having a queer-friendly flat is really important to me as I have many queer friends. I’d like a place that feels like home with friends. The room: I need an ensuite, and a big one at that — I’ve got a multi-monitor desk setup, a lot of clothes, a cat tree, and a general need for space. If it fits a large desk and some serious storage, I’m happy. The cat: She’s a bit shy at first but will eventually warm up to you. She has no issues with other pets. The flat: I like shared spaces to be clean and tidy at all times. Happy for us to share the cost of a cleaner or clean together I’d also prefer that we don’t host parties more than once a month thanks.
