am planning a visit to Edinburgh as a tourist and am looking for a comfortable accommodation close to the city. Ideally, I would prefer a place that:

• Is well-connected by public transport (bus or train links into the city centre) • Is situated in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood — away from heavy traffic or nightlife noise • Is suitable for a solo traveller exploring the city’s sights and attractions

I’m open to options such as a private room, a guesthouse, a B&B, or a self-contained flat. If you have a listing, a recommendation, or know of a good area to look, I would greatly appreciate your input!
