I left home at 18 to study in the Netherlands, and since then I’ve lived in shared flats across four countries: the Netherlands, Brazil, France, and before all that, growing up in Panama. I’ve lived with friends, with strangers, with people from completely different backgrounds, and it’s always worked out very well! I genuinely enjoy living with others: I love the spontaneous kitchen conversations as much as I respect that everyone needs their own space and rhythm. Coming from a multicultural background and speaking four languages (french, english, spanish and portuguese), I’m used to navigating different types of people and ways of living, and I actually find that variety makes a flat feel like home. On a practical level, I’m very organised and keep shared spaces tidy, not out of obsession, but because I have a lot going on and a messy environment is just not compatible with getting things done ahahaha!
