Hi, I’m Lou (short for Louis), I’ve just recently turned 22 and I’m working as a sales advisor while I look for a new job. I’m hoping to find a relaxed, comfortable place with a budget of around £500 a month (up to £600 if needed but I’d prefer to keep it around 500), and lower is always a bonus. Preferably I would like to be in the city centre, but I am also open to something just outside the city centre if it is close enough to be able to walk into town within 10-15, maybe even 20 minutes, I’d like to avoid needing to rely on public transport if possible. I’m flexible on move‑in date, but I’m looking to stay at least 6 months, and potentially longer if it’s a good fit. I am also open to something a little shorter temporarily if needed.

I’m queer and it’s important to me that the flat is LGBT‑friendly; LGBT roommates would be great, but I’m equally happy living with cis‑het people as long as they’re respectful allies. I’m autistic, so I might seem a bit quiet or awkward at first, but once I’m settled, I’m friendly, easygoing, and enjoy hanging out when it feels natural.

I’m an aspiring music producer and after life repeatedly getting in the way, I’m dedicating 2026 to learning how to do it, but I’m mindful of noise and happy to work around house rules. In my free time I love drawing, painting, baking, and gaming, and my favourite shows are American Dad and Doctor Who, so I’m always up for chatting about music, cartoons, or sci‑fi. I enjoy both quiet evenings and being social with housemates, whether that’s chatting at home or going out together, even though I’m not really used to big, shared dinners around a table. I keep my room tidy and I’m more than happy to do my share of chores and housework, especially when it comes to my own laundry and cleaning up after myself in the kitchen. I’m looking for a place with a calm, relaxed vibe where everyone respects each other’s space and identity, I’m open to roommates of all ages and genders/ gender identities; neurodivergent roommates would be a bonus, but not essential. As long as you’re open‑minded and kind, we’ll get along fine.
