Mandisa

Hi there! My name is Mandisa (she/they) and my partner’s name is Xavier (he/him). We are a couple of Aussies moving from Sydney to Glasgow and looking for a sharehouse/communal living vibe!

I’m a radiographer and have been working in hospitals/public health for the past 5 years. Outside of working I love adventuring in the outdoors (hiking, camping, surfing, skiing and rollerskating), going to music/burlesque/drag gigs, reading a lot of books, hanging out with my pals, a bit of pub trivia and cooking and gardening!

Xavier is a process engineer and has been working for a consulting company where he designs breweries and distilleries for the past 3 years. He also loves adventuring in the outdoors, baking a good loaf of sourdough, film photography, reading, is an excellent at home chef and a wicked drawer/painter. Is keen to take his outdoor skills to the next level and try some mountaineering when we move!

Together we are looking for a room in a sharehouse or to team up with likeminded folk for a communal and respectful space where we can cook and share a meal together and enjoy our collective interests. We are LGBTQIA+ friendly, environmentally minded and have 10 years of experience living out of home in shared spaces.
