Alyssa Whiteaker

Hello! I am Alyssa and I am a 26 year old Secondary English teacher from the United States! I have been a teacher in the US for 5 years, and I recently got a teaching job in East Grinstead. I am SUPER excited to live in England AGAIN. I studied at the University of Leicester for a few months in college back in 2019, so I am comfortable and familiar with living in the UK.

I am looking for a shared flat somewhere near the East Grinstead train station, or in Croydon (to be closer to London). I would prefer a room with a personal bathroom and washing machine. I will not have a car, so parking is not important to me.

As a roommate, I am respectful, clean, and considerate. I also really enjoy socializing with my roommates. I love a movie night, wine night, cooking together, or a night on the town! I will be working in-person at a secondary school Monday-Friday, so I would prefer someone who also enjoys quieter weeknights. I also LOVE animals and would be very happy to live with someone who has a pet (especially a dog).
