I’m originally from Scotland, moving back to the homeland after 22 years away! I’ve been in London for 17 years, and will be leaving London towards the end of April. Looking for somewhere to live from either 30th April/1st May. Looking for a double room close to city centre.

I’ve got a 17 year old female cat, therefore animal lovers are important to me. I’ve had her for 15 years but she is not used to being around other animals. I’m looking for someone to share that would like a pet, but doesn’t already have any cats, dogs or birds. She is very affectionate and loving, but a bit deaf due to age. Due to this, she is an indoor cat ( she rarely wants to go out). I occasionally take her for a walk on a lead ( well she takes me for a walk).

My career during the last 20 years has been in the charity sector, more recently within criminal justice and supporting people at risk of homelessness. I also was a white collar boxer before the pandemic, so I am really into fitness. My Boxing club moved to Leith during lockdown, looking for somewhere commutable to Newhaven, so I can start training again.

I’m thoughtful, respectful and mindful, very easy going and clean/tidy to live with. Having flat shared for 17 years, I know how to strike a a balance between being sociable and having quiet time. I’m still very good friends with previous flatmates too. Very outgoing too and loves to cook!
