Description
Hi London home seekers!
I’m Sam, a professional from London. I’m looking for one other person to search for and share a very happy home with.
A little about me:
I work full-time in climate tech and environmental policy. I am usually in the office at least twice a week, and otherwise I work from home. In my spare time I am a writer, and currently working on a novel.
I’m a culture vulture. I love theatre, live music, exhibitions, galleries, book launches and clubs, or any other cultural happening you care to name. I enjoy global cuisine and love to cook (I’m currently going through a Thai phase) and will bring my treasured collection of cook books with me to our home. I meditate, work out and otherwise get along well with those who look after their overall health and wellbeing.
I’m a life long learner, and have three degrees, each in different subjects (BA English Literature, MA International Relations and MSc Environmental Science) as well as a law diploma. I’m currently studying creative writing part-time. I’m open-minded love to listen and learn about new things from all types of people with all kinds of experience.
What I’m looking for:
I benefit most from a quiet and peaceful home environment. I think it’s important to find time for levity and one’s inner life in a city that often encourages us to live outwardly, and where the speed of everything can consume you in work culture if you allow it. My thinking is: we both have enough chaos in our lives, and should be able to retreat to a space at home that allows for tranquillity, open communication and mutual respect.
I only want to share with one other person. Open to anyone from any background, nationality, sexual orientation etc. I’m open to living with people of any age, including students provided they have a similar vision of a clean, cordial and well-kept home. I get along well with lots of different people from varied walks of life.
I’m open to living (almost) anywhere in London, provided it has a nice local community and easy transport links. However, I would prefer North London if possible.
If this sounds like what you need too, please get in touch. I will be delighted to hear from you :)
Let’s find and keep a beautiful home we can both flourish in.
Sam
