Hi all my name is Joel and I hail from Australia originally but I have lived in the UK for 16 years. The tenancy that I have been in for the last three years has come to an end and I am now looking for the next adventure and hopefully a little sanctuary to call home. A little bit about myself. I am an actor and qualified personal trainer and deep tissue massuer. Having worked in theatre over 16 years on West end shows and international/UK tours ,I decided to hang up the musical theatre shoes and make the transition to film and TV. Also gaining further qualifications in other fields to create supplementary income. I live more of a chilled life now , enjoying the simple things and the odd night out here and there. It’s all about balance hey?

I do work mainly from home as I self tape a lot and have to do so from my own room. I also when not on set, or taping I have the odd client over if there is enough space for my massage table in my room or another space. At the moment I’ve been doing them in my room with a screen covering my bed to create a professional studio. This has worked well but obviously something that would need to be discussed with potential flatmates. Not a dealbreaker at all, as I also travel and do out calls but it’s good to be transparent and upfront straight away ,in my opinion. I can be a little bit of a home body, enjoying series ,films and dinners with an active lifestyle too including gym, outdoor walks, yoga and meditation and of course a cheeky night out with the gay buds. Bottom line is I am a clean ,tidy and respectful flatmate. The most important thing for me is that As a household we are all on the same page .Communication is key. And hopefully a good balance of fun ,laughs while respecting each other’s spaces as well.
