Greetings,

We are two doctors from India who recently moved to Huntingdon for my husband’s GP training. We are ideally looking for a place we can stay in independently, so a studio or a one/two bedroom apartment or house, in the range of 600-900 pcm, but we are flexible with the price range and willing to consider a shared accommodation if the flatmates are good and there are no other options.

About us:

We are both quiet but enjoy a good conversation. We like going for walks and are definitely looking to explore more of Peterborough during our stay here. My husband, Nizam, is going to start his training as a GP in August. I am Atiba, I don’t have a job at the moment so I will be staying at home for the most part, until I find a job in Peterborough.

We are Muslims and our diet consists of Halal meat, no pork and no alcohol. This is really the only thing that stops us from considering a house share, apart from wanting more privacy as a couple.

Our ideal housemate is someone who will keep the shared spaces clean and usable for everyone, keeps the noise levels down, and treats the place as their own home while being mindful of other housemates and their preferences, possibly having a similar diet, culture or profession and is considerate of different cultural, religious and personal values, who is fun to talk with and could possibly show us around town!
