🏡 The Property The house is a comfortable, homely space with a calm and relaxed feel — very much somewhere to unwind rather than a busy or high-traffic household. It’s kept clean and tidy, with a focus on creating a peaceful environment after a working day.

🍃 The Room The available room is the front bedroom, which gets plenty of natural light and feels bright and airy. It’s a lovely space to make your own and would suit someone who enjoys a quiet, cosy place to switch off. Currently unfurnished but I am happy to get some furniture together for the room.

📍 The Area (Colne, Lancashire) The house is in a convenient location in Colne, with a bus stop right outside and easy access to local shops, supermarkets, and amenities.

It’s well positioned for commuting: • Approx. 55 minutes to Trafford Park (Manchester) • Around 1 hour to Leeds city centre

There are also plenty of countryside walks close by, making it ideal if you enjoy getting outdoors and having green space on your doorstep.

I’m quite an introverted, calm person who really values a peaceful, homely environment. I work as an accountant in an office Monday–Friday (8:00am–4:30pm), so home for me is very much a place to switch off and recharge.

I live with my three dogs — two older Labradors, Nala (12) and Simba (11), and a younger Golden Retriever, Enzo (2). They’re all friendly and affectionate, but it’s important you genuinely enjoy being around dogs as they are a big part of daily life (and there will always be a bit of dog hair!).

The house is very much a quiet, low-key space. I don’t smoke, vape, or drink, and I’m not a party person. I also prefer not to have lots of people coming and going, so I’m ideally looking for someone with a similar lifestyle who values a calm and predictable home environment.

My boyfriend stays over roughly every other week, but aside from that it’s a relaxed and quiet household.

I’m looking for someone who: • Is tidy and respectful of shared spaces • Enjoys a peaceful, drama-free home • Doesn’t drink or smoke • Is completely comfortable living with dogs

It would be a bonus (but absolutely not expected) if you enjoy walking, as the dogs always appreciate extra attention.

This home would best suit someone independent, considerate, and naturally quite low-key — someone who sees home as a place to unwind rather than socialise heavily.
