About the room

Double/single room available in a 2-bed house in Hulme (near Hulme Park) from 28th July. The house is in a lovely residential area with good transport links into the city centre and surrounding areas. It has a spacious kitchen and living room, plus a nice back garden which will be great in summer. The second bedroom comes unfurnished, but I’m happy to help with sourcing a bed / furniture so the room feels comfortable and settled. Bills are currently not included. Council Tax Band B and EPC rating A. I’d potentially be open to arranging a bills-included package with the right person. Looking for someone friendly, respectful and easy to live with who wants to make the place feel like home :)

About the roomies

Thanks for taking a look at my profile. I’m hoping to find someone friendly and easy to live with to create a nice environment together.

A little bit about me, I’m a student at the University of Manchester and I also work part time as a barista. Outside of uni and work I love going out, going on hikes, cooking, baking, trying new places to eat and drink, wine nights and pub quizzes. I’d love to live with someone I get on with and could build a friendship with over time but I also really value having our own space and doing our own thing too.

The house will just be shared with me. I haven’t moved in yet as the tenancy starts on 28th July and the original plan was for me to move in with someone else, but unfortunately those plans changed before move in, so I’m now looking for someone to join me on the tenancy from the beginning. The property has already been secured and referencing has been completed, so you’d be moving into a completely new setup rather than an already established household. As this would be a joint tenancy rather than a sublet, there would be the usual estate agent approval and referencing process for anyone interested.
