Katie's room

I am a female working student living in a first floor, two bedroom flat about a minutes walk away from town, and 5 minutes to the nearest bus stop.

The room unfurnished and on the road side of the building, a good square double room that will have been freshly painted with new a brand new carpet.

I have a lot of plants and pets: 1 indoor cat, 2 turtles and 4 giant African land snails. Unfortunately I am not allowed any more cats or dogs - but small pets such a lizard would be fine.

I am lucky enough to have been allowed to decorate how I’d like, so have transformed the flat into a very eccentric, colourful space. I would love it if you appreciated the style, and the freedom of expression also transpires to your room (within reason and approval.)

Parking is questionable, there’s sometimes spaces available pretty close (1-2minute walk) but they are sometimes taken. Hopefully a chat with neighbors and nearby cul-de-sacs could secure a permeant parking area.

The room is available from the end of March due to the chaos of decorating, but it could be sooner if needed. Security deposit negotiable.

It will be myself living here whilst studying art and working evenings in town.

I like to watch TV and work on art projects in the living room, you are welcome to use that space too - I would not expect you to isolate yourself in your room!

All neighbours are very lovely, the children are a bit noisy upstairs sometimes but kids will be kids so it doesn’t bother me. It is an essential expectation to not push boundaries regarding noise, but occasional gatherings of friends would be fine - we are still human.

I’m very bubbly and silly, and also very kind and open minded. I love spiritual things and can be very hyper at times…so you will find me decorating, putting up shelves or moving furniture at random times.
