I have an ensuite room available in Hackney Wick.

It’s a bright double room with balcony on and ensuite bathroom the 5th floor of a newish block of flats in Hackney Wick. Available either furnished (bed frame, wardrobe, desk) or empty.

The flat is located on the 5th floor of a new-ish block of flats in Hackney Wick. It’s fully equipped (washer, dishwasher, oven…), with a super bright kitchen/lounge and balcony (with tomatoes). We’re in the quieter part of Hackney Wick, Fish Island, right by the canal, the Olympic Park (and aquatic centre) and Victoria Park. It’s a 10min walk to Hackney Wick station, and about 15mins to Stratford station. There is plenty of space for bicycles.

The rent is £1150 each (£2300 for the entire flat). Bills are around £200 each and include electricity, water, internet, TV License and CTax.

The room is available from June onwards, but we can be very flexible from 2 May onwards.

You’ll be sharing the flat with me, Jan (he/him). I’m 43, Belgian/German, and queer. I work in parks for a local council, working 2 days/week from home. When I’m not working you’ll find me watching films, trying to grow things on the balcony, or off hiking/cycling somewhere. It’s a quiet flat, but there is definitely space for friends, dinners, etc…

My ideal flatmate is a professional of about the same age range, looking for a place to call home, social but also mindful of each others’ space. And… please be clean and tidy ;)
