Room rental is being offered in my private home in a good neighbourhood, 15 minutes walk to the station and centre of Letchworth the first Garden City.
I am offering a small furnished room with a single bed, cupboard space, desk etc. available Monday night to Friday morning, on a short term contract or longer that may be renewed month to month with one month’s notice to end contract on both sides. The terms, conditions and rent reflect that the room is small and offers a single bed and bedding, plenty of storage, WiFi, electric blanket; TV is not provided. You will have priority use of modern bathroom. I will clean the room at the weekend. If the bed is stripped I will wash and provide fresh bed clothes. Kitchen equipment for your use: microwave, kettle, toaster, storage shelf for dry goods, a shelf in fridge, crockery, cutlery, access to dishwasher and use of dining room. Tesco Express is a 5 minute walk. Free on street parking outside. To tweak the arrangements, this will be done person to person if a concern emerges. Rent will be paid on the same date that the rental begins by standing order. The deposit will be repaid at the end of the term agreed if everything is left in good order. There are pubs, cafes and restaurants, Morrisons Supermarket, public library, Garden City Micro Brewery and Bar, Broadway Art Gallery, branch of Nationwide Bank and restored Art Deco multi screen Broadway cinema.

In the centre of the town there’s hub for buses and a good fast train service , about 40 mins to London Kings Cross and London St Pancras; and 30 mins to Cambridge.

I am an older single woman, a retired teacher. I have a number of interests. I’m generally a quiet person. I want to make you welcome but keen to let you get on with your life.
