Start date negotiable for the right person. Single room available in the Stanley area in County Durham for a lodger.

Like myself I am looking for a tidy and clean person to occupy this room. Initially for a short term of 3 months and hen we can see how things go from there.

Council tax is included in the monthly charge. Gas, electricity and water are charged on a monthly usage. The deposit is £450 and there may be a fee of £24 for a background check on any potential lodger prior to moving in (non refundable).

No smoking/vaping allowed inside the house and no eating in the bedroom.

The room available is a single room with a single bed. There is a bedside table 1.5 wardrobe space, set of drawers, desk, chair and a book shelve/cupboard with doors. Room size is approx 12 x 11 feet with high ceilings.

There is a radiator, shutters on the window (inside) and a blackout blind.

Shared bathroom lounge, kitchen and dining area. There is an outside yard and furniture to sit on. Parking is on the street and normally there is normally plenty of space.

The area is relatively quite and you are in a country community. Not far from Stanley Town centre and also an easy commute to Beamish, Newcastle, Gateshead and Consett.

There is a good bus service available but due to the location easier if you drive and have transport.

I have a small friendly dog who gets on well with people.

A draft lodgers agreement available on request if you are interested.
