The flat is situated in the New Gorbals area of Glasgow, just south of the river from the city centre.

The flat is five minutes from the nearest gym and just a couple of more minutes to Glasgow Green. There are an array of shops at the end of the street, plus a retail park (including an Aldi and a Burger King) ten minutes walk away. The nearest subway station is 10-15 minutes walk to Bridge Street.

The room comes with a desk, a chair and a superking size bed, plus lots of storage space, including two built-in cupboards.

There is a bathroom across the hallway which will be yours to use as you please. I will use the ensuite off my own bedroom.

In the livingroom there is a large L-shape couch, a 50 inch TV and PS4. There is a Netflix subscription which can be accessed through the PlayStation. You can use all of these at your leisure whenever I am not.

I work from home a lot of the time. The livingroom/kitchen will occasionally be off-limits when I am recording podcasts, but I’ll communicate these times in advance, and it’ll only be for an hour or so three or four times a week, and often during regular working hours.

Anyone moving in must like cats. I have a five-year old British Short Hair who is pretty chill, but I will be out of the house at least a couple of nights a week, either staying at my girlfriend’s in Partick or going through to Edinburgh (where I’m originally from), so need someone to both feed him and give him some attention when he needs it.

Whenever I am out of the house, you can have free reign to do as you please so long as a) you don’t trash the place/break anything, and b) you don’t annoy the neighbours.

I have a flat-mate who is moving out at the end of the month and the room will be free as soon as she goes. Bear this in mind when coming to view as her belongings will still be here for the time being.

Council tax is band C but this cost is included in your monthly payment.
