Anthony's room

Looking for someone to take over from my flatmate as she’s leaving the country in June. The earliest start date is the 17th June, and the latest is 5th July.

The apartment is in West Hampstead. It’s furnished by the landlord but we have a couple of pieces of our own.

The room is a large double with a skylight and a large wardrobe, along with its own bathroom across the hall.

I have a similarly sized room next door to this one, with a slightly smaller en-suite.

The flat itself is 2 bedroom 2 bathroom,. The communal areas are pictured. We also have a balcony, and a staircase down to a landing with a coat rack next to our front door.

I’m looking for someone friendly and tidy, like my current flatmate. I keep to myself, and I work in central London usually 4 or 5 days a week (so 1 or 2 wfh at most). I don’t smoke or have pets, and I keep the communal area tidy.

I have a hoover, coffee machine, microwave, sandwich toaster, and other kitchen equipment that the new tenant is welcome to use (or bring their own of course) We also have a brand new boiler and good wifi, as well as netflix and prime on the TV.

The rent is currently 1225pcm each, but it’s due to go up by CPI in July so should end up somewhere betwen 1280 and 1300. Bills are pretty reasonable - happy to give some numbers on request. Council tax is about 110 per month each.

I moved to London last year after graduating, and now I work in finance. I commute in most days, and when I don’t, I work a the desk in my room. I work reasonably long hours and study for professional qualifications on top of that. Always up for a pint or a movie, and I cook in the kitchen pretty often but keep everything very clean. I’m hoping to stay in this flat for at least another year, potentially longer :)
