I have a lovely spacious double room in Mountsorrel, a village in between Loughborough and Leicester and with good road links to all the East Midlands and close to the airport. Newly decorated and with a new bed. Room rent includes bills (subject to fair use), cleaning and linen change included. Shared kitchen and there are laundry facilities. Sunny garden, quiet area and off road parking. No smoking, vaping (house or garden) or any pets as we are a low allergy household. Sorry, I can’t accommodate children. Transport nearby: 126/127 bus runs to Leicester or Loughborough. The nearest stop is about 10-15 mins walk away and buses run several times an hour. The village is close to the A6 and A46 with excellent road links to all cities in the East Midlands, and to the M1. Easy travelling distance to local Universities and Hospitals, and East Midlands Airport. Driveway parking is available and I have an EV point (charging costs extra). Situated in a quiet street in Mountsorrel, this semi-rural location has nearby convenience shops, community centre with gym and pool, doctor’s surgeries, pharmacy and restaurants, one with a Michelin star. There are parks and countryside walks nearby.

I’m a live in landlord so you’d be sharing with just one other person in a spacious house. I am friendly and welcoming, happy to chat or leave you be! I work part time or work from home several days a week. I watch tv - mostly science fiction - we have Netflix!), and do a bit of crafting and chilling. I also swim quite a lot. The house and neighbourhood is great and ideal for University staff, hospital staff and open to short term /weekday lets if that suits you better. I’m fine with shift working and would like to share with people in full time work or study.
