About the room
What You’ll Get: I’m offering a furnished double room from Jan 17th - you’ll have a brand-new, unused Queen-sized bed, brand-new IKEA wardrobes and chest of drawers, and depending on if you need a desk and chair, I’ll throw those in, too. In the house, there’s also a shared double living room, kitchen, and recently refurbished bathroom. If you drive, there’s on-street parking right outside. Bills are included in the price.
Right now, I’m sharing pictures of progress. This is what’s booked in over the next few days:
- Jan 12th: Finishing painting magnolia walls
- Jan 15th: Light grey carpet to be added
- Jan 16th: IKEA Wardrobes to be delivered and built
This is a brand-new, unused, absolutely fresh room!
Extra Stuff: The house is less than a mile away from Queens Road Tram Station, and 3 streets away from the closest bus station, so there are easy links to the city centre. Also, 1.5 miles away from Victoria Station, so super close to town, (less than 5 min drive and 20 mins walk) with lots of close by takeaways open till 1am, and less than 10 min walk away from a big shopping centre (Manchester Fort - has a PureGym, Nandos, KFC, Maccies, Aldi / Lidl, and B&M). House Improvements: Whilst you are living in the house, I will be making continuous improvements over the course of the year. My current plan involves putting in brand new radiators (I’ve just had a new boiler put in) and a refubished kitchen (hopefully before Xmas), so you will benefit from a house developing around you.

About the roomies
Living Arrangement: There’s one other person living in the house. I will not be in the house. It’s a 3 bedroom, 2 living room house to be shared between two people, and there will never be more than 2 people permanently in the house at anyone time.
A bit about me: I’m out of Manchester for a months at a time, only coming back for a day to sit on the sofa, check on the house, and leave the same evening, so you won’t actually see me very often!
