About the room

If wanted, you can fit a desk or drawers into there, but a decent sized room with enough wardrobe space. Same level as the bathroom and kitchen area. TV with Virgin Media broadband. Recently newly installed washing machine, fridge and oven. I do not work from home so if you do, you’ll enjoy the space to yourself both professionally and personally. Parking space is in the basement so a platform and fob is utilised for entering and exiting (great security in that sense and of course no extra parking charges included). You are in the very heart of Bradford, 1 train station (Forster Square, which is overall the retail park to the left of exiting City Mills building) 2 minutes ahead of the building door and another one (including bus servies as well - The Interchange!) nearly 10 minutes away (both stations get you to Leeds!) You also have Broadway shopping centre to your very left upon exiting City Mills building, so two different shopping areas on either side of you. Bradford is will appear dull, rough, scruffy and not so welcoming with some of the folk around (want to be as honest as the newspapers can be) BUT with a local university no more than 20 minutes by foot from this building and local council workers (like myself, though based in Bingley so I commute), alongside your own personal goals and tasks, you will find Bradford is perfect to engage in certain areas and responsibilities the benefit of fulfilling your daily living tasks on cheaper costs compared to others places! Should Bradford not have what you want to buy or entertain yourself with, get on a train or bus and upgrade your purchases in Leeds.

About the roomies

You’ll find this building is super quiet. I’ll have a funny story to share to confirm that statement, but it’s definitely better told in person 😅 I am friends with a few of them and even those I do not see often, we all exchange lovely greetings amongst each other. Not everyone is a professional, you even have some with kids living with them, but again, you don’t see people much and even with kids in the building, I’ve not seem a noise complaint ever on the notice board near the front door of the building. However, I would not say at all it is secluded nor isolated (remember you are in the city centre). If you do like your pubs rather than local clubs and bars, Bradford City centre is perfect and I may volunteer to be the navigator or nominate a good neighbour of mine (given he is still here 😅).
