It is located on the border of Withington and Didsbury close to The Christie Hospital, and within walking distance to shops, cafes and supermarkets. The property is located near excellent transport links to the city centre either by Train or Bus. The M60 and M56 Motorway are only a couple of minutes away by car so making the location excellent for access to Manchester Airport and the whole of Greater Manchester.

The room available is a single bedroom which is currently furnished with a bed, wardrobe and has fitted window shutters. There is a shared bathroom, kitchen, living room, downstairs loo and back sitting room. There is also a garage that can be used for additional storage if needed.

A bill contribution would be agreed with the Householder prior to moving in with the support of your Homeshare Coordinator.

We match people who have a spare room in their home (Householder) and would like some help and companionship, with people in need of affordable accommodation (Sharer) who are happy to chat and be sociable with their housemate.

The householder is typically an older person who would like the reassurance of hearing a key turn in the lock at the end of the day and would like to open their home up to someone friendly and helpful looking for a nice home to share.

Our Householder is a lovely lady in her late 80’s– she has lived in Withington all her life and would be happy to give tips on the local area. She is an open, friendly and independent lady and lives just a short walk from Withington and Didsbury Village with shops, bars and café’s in abundance. She enjoys seeing her family and friends, loves going shopping, watching documentaries on TV and likes to get out to the local cafes for a coffee and cake.
