Hubert Road

We have a spacious ensuite room available in a newly renovated house located on a quiet side road of Hubert Road. The house has a big open-plan kitchen and living room area: the kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The living room area has comfortable sofas, a flat-screen TV, and a dining table. The ensuite room itself is spacious and comes with a comfortable bed, a built-in wardrobe, and a desk. The bathroom has a big shower, toilet, sink and some storage space. The house also has a garden and patio area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air. The house is about a 5-minute walk to the main road in Selly Oak (Bristol Road), which has many shops such as Aldi, Tesco and Sainsbury’s and other restaurants/cafes/pubs/clubs. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the University of Birmingham and less than 5 minutes away from Selly Oak Station, with quite a few different buses also stopping along Bristol Road, making the location quite accessible to public transport and to the uni.

We’re a group of 5 girls going into our 2nd year at UoB studying different subjects (Law x2, Law with French Law, Computer Science and Economics). Due to unforeseen circumstances, one of our housemates had to drop out of our house. We are all very friendly and welcoming as well as clean and respectful of the needs of other housemates. There’s a range of personalities within the house, including those who prefer to stay in and those who prefer to go out, so you will never feel like the minority or pressured to do anything you do not want to do! We’re looking for a friendly and tidy female housemate studying at UoB to fill the 6th spot in this house - please let us know if you are interested or have any questions!
