Derby Road

Room is a spacious double-bed on the second floor of a five bed house in Fallowfield. It has a lovely view through its window which overlooks the Withington Bowls Club green. Being on Derby road, you are a 5-10 minute walk from Withington high street, 5-10 minute walk from Mauldeth Road Train Station and a 5 minute walk from the centre of Fallowfield so its location proves for great infrastructural connections. A typical journey into the University by bus would be around 30 - 40 minutes, say if you were a student.

The house itself has a spacious kitchen which connect onto the living room, which provides a great social space in evenings.

The house has two bathrooms, one with just a shower and the other with a shower/bath. There is a third toilet, on its own, on the second floor.

Once speaking to housemates over a quick facetime, phone call or even popping in to see the room and house in person and finding the set-up agreeable, all you’d have to do is sign the sub-tenancy contract with me and my landlord and the room is yours from now until the end of June 2023!

Very much happy to agree on the rest of March (at least the next 3 weeks from 08/03/2023) free rent so long as you are happy to take over tenancy payments starting from the 1st of April 2023.

In the house we have three 4th year University of Manchester students - two of whom are medical students and one of whom is a business student. We also have an Australian second year student staying in the house on a placement at the University of Manchester. Everyone is tidy and house is always peaceful. There is a culture of sharing vegetarian dinners in the evenings but if your dietary preferences are different it is by no means necessary to partake in this!

During the weeks the house facilitates a good working environment - everyone tends to have early morning starts - and they all enjoy going to the gym.
