Double bedroom available in my spacious South facing flat in west end suburbs of Glasgow.

Lots of amenities on hand, 0.3 mile to Scotstoun train station 0.3 mile to Garscadden train station. Plenty of buses, near a wee shopping centre, a mile from Anniesland with, among others Morrison’s and Aldi. 3 miles from Glasgow University.

Have both private and communal gardens, lovely in Spring/summer, have a washing line for clothes, space for bbq, sunbathing, etc.

There is plenty of on street parking available and am very near major cycle routes both into town as well as North West to Loch Lomond and beyond.

Rent includes council tax, water and wifi. We all make equal contribution to gas and electricity.

I come from a multi-cultural family, I enjoy arts and political debates. I work broadly in community, arts and educational areas. I’m interested to utilise those to effect enabling and empowering social, economic and cultural change. I live here with a marvelous young family member who works part time. We have a rescue cat who is shy but when she gets to know people she’s very friendly. We’re friendly and sociable household but not a party house. We don’t mind a lodger who goes out partying with friends, as long as you’re considerate and try to be fairly quiet if you’re coming in very late.

If you’re looking for a quiet, friendly place to find peace to do your studies or relax after a long day at work, somewhere to make a nice meal and relax with a movie or hot bath, near lots of green spaces and parks to take pleasant walks, feed ducks, swans. If you like an occasional chin-wag (chat about life the universe and everything, or how the government could run the country better) you’ll love it here.

I’m flexible on most things but my one boundary is that I’m looking for a lodger who does not participate in porn culture or commercial sexual exploitation.
