About the room

We offer 2 rooms in Firhill Court student accommodation, as we are moving out for the summer and looking for students to take over our contracts.

The accommodation is located between the West End and the City Centre (25 minutes away by foot). There are also shuttle buses running every day (every 30 mins or so) that are totally free and take you to the City Centre or the West End. It is next to the canal Clyde, an amazing spot to have a walk and enjoy peace and quiet. The current flatmates are quiet, friendly, welcoming, and like to maintain a clean environment.

The staff is very friendly, there is an office where you can drop by with any questions. If there is any maintenance work needed in the flat, the staff fixes it very promptly, in a matter of a few days.

The rooms are furnished with a bed, a desk, a wardrobe, and a nightstand. There is a private bathroom.

The common area is shared between the flatmates and is furnished with an oven, a microwave, and two fridges.

There is a common laundry room for the whole accommodation.

The area has an inside courtyard that contains free parking spaces, a basketball hoop, table tennis, chess, tables, and benches to sit and relax with others. There is also a common area inside for studying and gathering with other students.

Smoking is not allowed on the premises, however, there is a designated area for it.

The contract for one of the rooms lasts until 15 August and for the other - 3 September. It is possible to extend them until later or even throughout the next academic year (you should discuss these details separately with the staff at Firhill Court).

Let me know if you have any questions or require a video tour or more pictures of the flat.

About the roomies

During the summer most of the people living in the flat are going to be away. There might be 2 people staying, a guy and a girl, both master’s students at the University of Glasgow, both very friendly and welcoming.
