We have a double room available in our friendly 3 bed houseshare up in Horfield. It’s available now. (12-month contract).

Rent: £545 p/m + 120 bills. Deposit: £563.41

It’s a big, beautiful double room on the first floor. The room comes unfurnished and is large and spacious with wooden flooring and big bay windows letting in lots of light. The house itself is really nice. The living area is big and open plan, opening onto a patio and down into the garden. It’s comfortable and spacious, plus there’s a nice large kitchen. There’s also a garage for extra storage.

Other info:

• It’s in Horfield, quite high up but still walking & cycling distance to nice things on Gloucester Road (and loads better for parking than further down!)

• Our routines are fairly variable and the house is a bit creaky so might not work so well for light sleepers.

• Age range: We think someone mid-twenties to late thirties age range might fit best.

• Gender: We are looking for a woman or non-binary person to join the house.

• LGBTQIA+ friendly house

• If you move in, you’ll be added as an equal tenant to the contract after a tenants check.

• If you have some furniture of your own for the shared space just let us know and we can see what might fit.

• Pets are allowed. Sadly, we can’t accept cats but a dog would be great!

We are: Issy - 30, friendly, open, honest and up for a laugh and some fun. She’s into sports - mostly rock climbing and ultimate frisbee. Loves a trip to the sea, summer BBQ’s, sitting round the fire with a cider and just generally loves hanging out with friends.

Jo - 29, creative, open and empathetic. A foodie, who enjoys cycling & running around Bristol, loves being tuned to the radio and going out to see live music.

It’s really important to us to find the right person, especially as it’s a long-term contract.

Being open, having good communication and a self-awareness for others is really important to us in a house share. The contract is for a year initially. If all goes well, we would hope to find someone who wants to stay on longer than that. So, we are looking for someone who wants to settle in and really make this their home.

Basically, we’re hoping for a home that feels friendly and fun, where we look out for each other, and where everyone feels at home and free to be themselves.
