Female house sharer wanted | £850 per calendar month, including bills and Wi-Fi

A beautiful furnished double room is available in a characterful 14th-century farmhouse set in picturesque countryside just beyond Broadclyst, close to the National Trust’s Killerton estate.

The farmhouse is situated on a private equestrian property with a large garden, lovely surrounding walks and horses regularly passing outside. Inside, there are two comfortable living areas, both with log burners.

The available bedroom is light, comfortable and exceptionally spacious, with a double bed and plenty of room to make it feel like your own.

The house sharer would also benefit from:

The farmhouse is approximately 20 minutes by car from Exeter city centre and around a 20 to 25-minute drive from both the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital and the University of Exeter.

Although there is a local bus service nearby, this is a rural location and having your own transport is essential.

This is an owner-occupied, women-only house share. You would be sharing the farmhouse with a gay woman in her late forties and some lovely, friendly Cavaliers, so genuinely liking dogs is essential.

There are currently no other house sharers though I have decided to advertise one of the smaller rooms.

The farmhouse is occasionally used for small women’s retreats and wellbeing events, so there can sometimes be people around. However, day-to-day it is a peaceful and relaxed home.

The entire property and surrounding grounds are completely smoke and vape-free.

I’m looking for a kind, friendly, clean and reasonably tidy woman who will be considerate and respectful of a shared home. Someone sociable who would enjoy a friendly household while also appreciating her own space would be ideal.

The room would particularly suit a working professional, mature student or researcher looking for somewhere peaceful and special to call home.

Rent: £850 per calendar month, including household bills, Wi-Fi and reasonable use of the spa facilities.

I’m friendly, laid-back and sociable, while also enjoying my own space. I love training in the gym, yoga, Pilates, country walks, seeing friends, cooking and finding a nice pub for lunch. I share my home with some lovely, friendly Cavaliers, so you’ll need to be comfortable around dogs.
