About the room

The house is on Melton Road, West Bridgford (NG2 7NW).

A little bit about the household: it’s my family home and I live here with my four children (aged 19, 14, 12 and 10) and our miniature dachshund, Bambi 🐾.

I appreciate that a family home isn’t for everyone, but it’s a really happy, relaxed household. The children are at school during the day and have various activities in the evenings, so it’s generally a busy but friendly home. The house itself is a large Victorian six-bedroom property with a beautiful garden, and it’s in a fantastic location within walking distance of the Embankment, Central Avenue, coffee shops, bars and restaurants.

I’ve been renovating the house over the last couple of years and I’ve recently completed the bathroom, my bedroom and the spare room that I’m renting out. It’s a large airy double bedroom, fully furnished with a desk, overlooking the beautiful back garden so is very quiet. The room has just been decorated and has new carpet. The bathroom would be shared with the 19 year old.

I’m hoping to find someone easy-going, respectful and comfortable living in a family environment. Ideally, someone who wants a peaceful, friendly home rather than just somewhere to sleep.
