Laura's room

Lovely quiet double room in an area with lots of parks, close to a train station that will get you to the city centre in less than 10 minutes. Is furnished with a double bed, and a chest of drawers. Happy to talk about what you might want to bring or need.

Hi, I’m Laura. I run a charity and work from my home, that I’ve owned for over 10 years. It’s been in my family for over 50 years so has lots of character and is a place I’m quite sentimental about!

I’m originally from Cardiff but have lived around the UK and abroad over the years. In my spare time, I like to get outdoors, see friends, sauna and sea swim and do yoga.

The house is a peaceful space with a big garden, and an open fire in the living room. The room is a big double room, with a view of the garden. It has a double bed and chest of drawers. There is a large shared bathroom, and a downstairs WC.

I like the house to be a place to relax. There is room to socialise and I very occasionally have friends and family around, but most of the time it is space to chill after a hard days work.

I’m looking for someone who:

• Works outside the home (mainly)
• Wants a short term let (maybe 4-6 months)
• Is clean and tidy, and willing to do their share of keeping the house nice
• Is friendly and open to hanging out, but also happy to do their own thing
