Rachel's room

Hello. I’m looking for an easy going, flatmate to rent out one of my spare rooms. It’s a 1930s ex farm cottage in Shenleybury, which is close to Radlett The house is very modern inside with all mod cons.; huge TV. and surround sound, smart amenities and heating. Front and back gardens. The back garden is large, with 2 patios and room for dining and chilling outside , so lovely in the summer. (I work out there a lot too!) . The room is a double, furnished, with a shared bathroom and roll top bath. You would have a beautiful view from this room across the fields which are opposite and the sunset. There is also a separate study next to this room that can be used for working from home, taking zoom calls or lounging in. Private gated parking with two spaces (and more at the back). It’s about 8 mins to the railway in Radlett or St Albans. Lots of local shops in Radlett, St Albans and London Colney. Close to the M25 and circa 20mins to Luton , or 15mins to Harpenden or Watford. Includes bills and broadband. I’m open to 5 days a week, or full time. The room is perfect for commuting if you want a cheaper location than central. Thameslink overland line: 15mins to West Hampstead where you can get the Jubilee line, 20mins to Kentish Town where you can pick up Northern Line, 30mins to Kings X, 35mins to London Bridge.

I’m pretty relaxed and treat my home as my sanctuary. I love the outdoors and gardening and I have a garden at the front and a big garden at the back and spend a lot of time making this look nice and working outside in the summer. Here, you’re also surrounded by lovely fields and walks, but in 30mins you can be in central London! I work from home 2 x week and in the office 2 x week. I manage a Business Futurist agency and am interested in tech, retail and design. I’m usually up very late and am a night owl. Out a lot at weekends. Must like cats as I have two: a British Shorthair called Mia and a Maine Coon called Willow - both very friendly.
