Monkswood

The house: It’s a pretty unique house. Upstairs is a huge open plan kitchen / dining room & living room. Downstairs are 4 double bedrooms, plus 2 bathrooms. There’s a very big garden and lots of trees surrounding the house, along with a patio, fire pit and a decking area under our willow tree. There’s also a big garage where we keep our bikes / toys. We love the place.

Bills are not included in the rent, and (with the recent massive hike in gas/electric) are now around £135 per month each. So total monthly cost is £395.

There’s 3 of us in the house - all in our 30s working in theatre, tech and the university. We share cooking most nights (one of us is vegan, so that’s a vegan meal) and shop communally. We have a lot of interests between us - cycling, making things, writing music, surfing, dancing, dressing up, board games, festivals to name a few.

We don’t have (or want) a TV, but there is a screen in the living room which is connected to a laptop for films etc.

Who we’re looking for: We’re looking for someone we get on with well, shares some of what we like to do, and has similar attitudes about living together. There’s a minimum 12 month contract, so no short term offers I’m afraid.
