Hey potential flatmate:) Hope you’re doing well… Good-sized double room available immediately for until September. Tried to include all info you may want to know but let me know if you have any questions/queries or are interested in the space:)

About the space: A good-sized double room with some furniture Available immediately until September Shared communal areas and bathroom. Great location on a quiet road in Fallowfield between Birchfields and Platt Fields park. Near to various bus routes into town (25 mins) and near rental bikes. Good and helpful letting agent. £338 monthly rent. We need to arrange bills ourselves, would estimate that electricity, water and gas come to around £100 each a month. Currently just use mobile data (£25/month) so it would be up to you to set up WiFi if you wanted. I’m a student so am council tax exempt, if you’re a professional, the council tax comes to £79 a month. Don’t think pets are allowed.

A bit about me: I’m a 23 year old neuroscience student at UoM and work part-time as a tutor. I’ve been living in Manchester for a couple of years. My studies are important to me and will be taking up the majority of my time during term, particularly during my exam period in May-June. Enjoy deep chats and self-improvement. See my interests for extra info:) Happy to keep the communal area clean and tidy Over my summer break I plan to socialise with my friends more and want for them to come and stay but will be respectful.

Flatmate relationship: I don’t have an expectation to become close friends with my flatmates as I do my own thing most of the time. I’m open to developing a good friendship if it happens, but I don’t want it to be forced - keen to make an effort to be good roommates though!:)

To be upfront with my preferences in a flatmate: Appreciate good communication so minor problems don’t escalate and being considerate, responsible and trustable flatmates Not being loud is important to me. I like quiet and I work from home in the evenings and don’t enjoy regular music that I can hear in my room :) I’m not 420 friendly Not really a party person I try to keep heating bills down but the place can be quite draughty Vegetarian/vegan preferred
